"Twisted Obsession"
a Short Story by Chelsea Jo Heidi Idelle is an empath and has been all her life. She's spent the last 3 years learning how to deal with the onslaught of emotions that made her an outcast and loner back in high school. Now she's returned for the 10 year reunion but it's not to catch up or show off; she's ready to tie up some loose ends she left behind when she coincidentally fled town 3 years ago. She needs to have a talk with Paul, the guy who's proposal she turned down, but more importantly she needs to figure out why everyone feels so hostile towards her. How will she deal with the broken bonds of old friends who refuse to tell her why they hate her? Who is this disturbing pervasive anger she keeps feeling coming from? This is an ongoing story and will be updated periodically. |

"Ransom"
a Short Story by Chelsea Jo Ransom is sixteen years old and lives in a society where the government raises every child from birth until they are ten years old. All the children's memories are modified before they're returned home to Mom and Dad. At least, that's how it's supposed to work. Ransom, however, remembers everything and those people aren't his parents. Join Ransom as he finds out the truth behind why the government raises all the children, as well as his own origins. The answers are definitely not what he was expecting! |
